"A huge lie repeated often enough is accepted as truth." — Joseph Goebbels, Nazi Propaganda Minister PRIMER-Massachusetts "Unanswered media bias and misinformation repeated often enough is accepted as truth." — PRIMER
"We will not relinquish any of our principles. Since the Palestinian National Council convention in Algeria in 1988, at which we [declared] a Palestinian state and recognized [UN] Resolutions 242 and 338, what concessions have we made on our principles? We insist on the 1967 borders, Jerusalem as our capital, and the refugees' rights according to the UN resolutions, especially [Resolution] 194. Our rights to water are also recognized by international law. Not a single word of our documents has been changed, from then to this very day. It has not happened and will not happen." — Mahmoud Abbas, leader of the Palestinian Authority and the Fatah and PLO terror groups. Al Ayyam, September 6, 2010.

Letter Writing Workshop
Israel Advocacy and Confronting Media Bias

Sunday, July 27, 2014
8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Temple Israel of Natick
145 Hartford St, Natick, MA 01760

This workshop is offered without charge. We especially encourage high school and college students to participate.

This letter writing workshop will help you learn the secrets of letter-writing and provide you with the knowledge, resources and contacts you need to feel confident about writing your own responses to anti-Israel articles, editorials, op-eds and letters.

This workshop is hosted by the Israel Action Committee of Temple Israel of Natick. Materials are courtesy of CAMERA, the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America.

In this workshop, you will learn that effective letter writing is easier than you think. Short, succinct letters are often more powerful than long, comprehensive letters and can often be written quickly. CAMERA has developed a procedure which will be used by participants to respond to a recent item. You’ll quickly feel comfortable using the same procedure to produce your own, personal letters. Israel Advocacy and Confronting Media Bias will feature Alan Stein, Ph.D., founder of PRIMER-Massachusetts. CAMERA has three times awarded Dr. Stein Honorable Mention, Letter Writer of the Year. Stein is a member of a special CAMERA committee which developed the materials to be used in this workshop and future sessions in the United, States, Canada and Israel. Alan is President Emeritus of PRIMER-Connecticut and a resident of Natick, Massachusetts and Netanya, Israel.

To register, to make sure updated information about the workshop is sent to you or to have information sent to someone you think may be interested, email info@primerma.org.
